Haley – Born and raised in a small town of 888 people 50 miles south of Fort Worth, she’s always had a passion for adventure and excitement in the big world.
She gets a thrill from trying a new “hole in the wall” restaurant and she loves anything to do with food! Mexican and Chinese cuisine is her absolute favorites. Haley and her husband dream of having a family of their own in a small farmhouse on a ton of land, but are hoping to travel the world to visit Greece and Dubai – and maybe more – before settling down.
Haley never saw herself working in the medical field. She had wanted to be a lawyer or a crime investigator when she was little, but when Haley’s father, Brian, suddenly passed from a hidden heart disease (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy), she felt called to help patients and their families.
She began her career as a caregiver for an elderly couple in 2020, and started school to become a CCMA in the fall of that year. But Haley struggled to find a good fit in the field, and she was just contemplating her next move when she received a message from “Barbie” at Way Out West Spine and Mobility.
When she came into the office, she knew it was going to be the “fit” that she was seeking! She remembers thinking that the overall feeling of the office and the staff were just incredible – completely different from other offices. Haley was still in school for her CCMA license, but based on her passion and caring personality, Dr.Martinez took a chance and hired her right away.
Now, Haley looks forward to seeing her patients everyday, and strives to give them the best care that she can. Her overall goal is to make sure she takes the time to listen and understand each of her patients stories.
“Finding this practice and the amount of compassion here truly makes a difference in the care of our patients. I think our patients would say the same.”
