Blake Richard
Director Of Operations
Blake Richard applies one principal to everything he does and that’s, “If you’re going to run, go the distance.” As an avid runner, and ultra-marathoner, he applies principles of his craft to everyday life and practice management style.
A transplant from Portland, Oregon, Blake started his career as an MA with accreditation from the NHA.
In 2016, Blake moved to Southern California, working with a prestigious Sports and Spine practice located in the heart of Orange County. His attention to detail allowed him to excel, striving for fantastic patient care, and experiences, at the practice. This did not go unnoticed, and he was soon promoted to Practice Manager. Since then, he’s worked at continuing to build his reputation of innovating, growing, and innovating at a variety of practices over the past 5 years in different specialties including orthopedic, radiology, and primary care.
Blake’s goal at our practice is to make sure that every patient of Way Out West gets exceptional patient care and quality service so they can focus their energy and time on healing physically, and emotionally, while working to return to the hustle and bustle of life.
Personal:
Blake recently became a proud father to a beautiful baby boy with his partner Natalie. When he’s not working or running, he enjoys spending every moment with them and their two energetic pups.
Blake is very passionate about photography, which he discovered through running in the mountains. He enjoys training year-round for ultra-marathons which consist of 50-100 mile distances, with a goal to compete in the holy grail of ultra’s the Badwater 135. Which is 135 miles of pure joy located in Death Valley!
